Social Offline Defence Colony has build up its reputation of being one of the coolest places of the city. The dim lit industrial and rustic theme with plastered walls and metal work give a very unconventional and casual feel. And that’s the reason it’s loved my many. The cocktails the chain serves have always been very exciting. This summer too, they have churned out some electrifying drinks that will beat the heat and quench your thirst.
Sunspear
Starting 23rd June, Social offline in its outlets across Delhi have launched a dozen new cocktails in a festival called The Long Drinks Festival. These divine concoctions are served in the signature social cylinders and beakers and one may choose from 1000ml or 500 ml options.
High Garden
Whiskey lovers would love the SUNSPEAR, a blend of whiskey, orange juice, apple juice and sugar. The ones who like their cocktails loaded with alcohol should not miss the HIGH GARDEN. Absinthe liquor, vodka, gin, tequila and rum in equal measures garnished with fresh mint to give you an instant kick. Then there is the chilled WHITE WALKER, the white coloured mix of kahlua, vodka and fresh cream. The best of the lot for me is the VALOR MORGHULLIS. Served in a conical flask, this concoction of rum, vodka, cherry liqueur and tonic water topped with maraschino cherries is as macho as it sounds and certainly the most recommended.
