December afternoons in Mumbai, outdoors at Social – Khar, Black Dog whiskey tasting, a star bartender, cocktail making sessions, brunch, Sundays and Christmas spirit in the air, Christmas flavors in the cocktails – overwhelming? Rather, tremendous! What a fun afternoon, learning to make some super nice whiskey cocktails, including apple, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, berries, and what not! Oh, and the bartending antics as well 🙂
Black Dog and Social did make it worth the time! They taught us 4 cocktails, hands on, kept us full with continuous supply of Chicken Chooza Pops,and other chakna chaats.
We also had a whisky tasting session where we tasted these golden beauties. Then they set the stage for some practical interactive cocktail making sessions, for the bloggers –
We had a choice roast chicken with veggies and mash potatoes or pork schnitzels with vegetable stir fry, for main course, cocktails unlimited alongside. We finished off our meals with the very apt Christmas pudding cake, or spiced cake, drizzled with a #BlackDog whiskey sauce
And we went home with some wonderful liquor chocolates from #BlackDog. Merry Christmas peeps, and happy holidays! Let’s spread some good cheer 🙂
