A diner that celebrates good food with the perfect ambience and soothing music, Zerruco Kitchen and Bar is a haven for all food lovers. Specializing in Mediterranean and Italian cuisines, one just feels lucky to be able to experience and taste the exclusive delicacies. The dim lit and spacious interiors set the mood for a perfect dine in experience. The luxurious space is lined by alfresco seating and wooden panels. The décor will surely win the hearts of all. We went a little later in the evening and as the sun set, the humongous chandelier was lit up exhibiting an amber glow. Perfect for executive dinners, parties or a romantic getaway, Zerruco will not disappoint you. It is also an important name in Delhi’s nightlife chapter. The live performance of the singer and the vocalist completes the classic ambience of the place.

What impressed us the most was the prompt and quick service and the perfectly laid out and manicured dishes. The staff patiently answered all our queries. The menu was cleverly designed so as to incorporate all the Mediterranean flavours. Drinks, starters, main course and dessert; that’s how the drill goes.

To begin with, we were served the Orange Blossom Drink which had orange, peach, mint and strawberry which tasted good. Next came the fuzzy Rosemary Cider with apple extracts. Tropical bloom infused with cream, milk, mango and fruits was refreshing. A drink perfect for summers. Cocktail lovers will also be delighted by the Aromatic Melody , Surprised Wink (orange vodka, basil, strawberry and pineapple) and Pink River (juniper, lemongrass, citrus and berry).

Immediately after that few different types of breads arrived accompanied with three delicious dips. Mediterranean falafel was also good. The Asparagus and Orange salad mixed with crispy lettuce and citrus dressing had its own tangy taste. Others were Beetroot and Goat Cheese salad and Grilled Chicken Pesto.

French Brie with Cranberry sauce was simple yet delightful. It was basically cheese fried fingers. Next came the amazing Chef special non- veg Mezze Platter. The prawns were crispy and the chicken was juicy. Other contents of the platter included Hummus, Tazatiki, Baba Ganoush, Muhammara, Avocado dip with a pita basket, thus balancing out all the flavors. There is a veg platter too.

Now it was time for pizzas. Ortolana pizza (pizza loaded with cheese and veggies) and Calzone Etna (stuffed with cheese, spinach, mozerrella and topping of parmesan cheese) were served. Both were extremely delicious. We would highly recommend the Chicken Ablama. The marinated chicken chunks were soft and flavourful while the gravy was thick yet delicious. It was served with steamed rice on a bed of tomatoes.

Dessert consisted of Banoffie Pie, Tiramisu, Hazelnut Mousse and Chocolate Decadence. The Tiramisu was very fresh and creamy. I loved the Banoffie Pie which had bananas, caramel and whipped cream. The Chocolate Decadence completed the dessert’s list with lot’s of chocolate on the inside as well as outside.
