Oldest Bar & dinning lounge in South Delhi-“Storm” still survives, definitely they are doing a lot of things right. This lounge is at a walk away distance from Kailash Colony metro station and opposite the popular Geetanjali Salon, East of Kailash. This road is generally jam packed, so the valet service provided by them is quiet helpful.

When you enter this place, you’ll see alot of different seating options. We took the couch. There was a kitty party going on and we could see alot of enthusiastic ladies smiling and cheering. On the other end, I could see the dance floor being cover with balloons, maybe for a birthday party. This all reminded me of my childhood days when I used to go for parties with my parents. The same old-rustic feel and charm, made me really happy-nostalgic.
I sampled a lot of things, let me list down the things which worked for me:-
1. Mushroom appetizer (I am not sure of the dish name)- Crumb fried mushroom served with sweet chilli sauce, stuffed with spinach. Loved the softness of the mushroom complimenting the crispiness of the crumb.

2. The Pizza Verduras- Crisp thin crust pizza topped with mozzarella and veggies.
3. Cigar roll- Crispy roll stuffed with cheese and served with sweet chilly sauce.

4. The Watermelon Charger and Virgin Mojito were an absolute crowd pleaser. Almost everyone seemed to enjoy it. They were highly refreshing and freshness of the drink was much needed on the hot afternoon.

5. The star of the night were definitely the “mains.” The dal makhani and paneer were cooked to perfection. All the non-veggies were oo”ing” and aa”ing” about the chicken and mutton. I tried the gravy of butter chicken and it was genuinely cooked beautifully.
All in all, a good experience, would be coming back to Storm for Dal Makhani & Paneer.
