With all the heavy amounts of writing I have been doing over the past few months, reading has become a precious commodity. So when my editor Ch. Lady Diana invited me for a book reading session of her recently launched book “Lovin’ a Hero” and I wasn’t going to refuse. I have never been a big fan of sitting and listening to lectures, specially sleeping off in the middle of lectures. It had been a habit of mine while even studying during my undergrad days but surprisingly, it didn’t happen this time.
The novel traces it’s story in the form of a hard nosed Page 3 journalist Aditi who is a single mother and has poured all the acid of her life into her writings making her one of the most feared critics around town. On a chance journey to Maldives, she falls for the Edwardesque hero of the story and the movie, Aditya. But dreams are short lived as she has to return back to the drudegery of her life as she copes with breaking up with him. I have give you quite a spoiler of the book now. To know what happens further in the book, you have to buy our copy and read it soon.
The event was organised at Chatter House, Khan Market and it is one of my favorite restaurants as this Irish styled pub at Nehru Place was a favorite haunt of mine during my postgrad days. We had some of Chatter House’s decadent helping as Diana told us about her book.

You definitely need to read Diana’s book soon. Buy it here
