Yashodhara, is a trendsetting blogger who runs a blog called Y ON EARTH NOT, she has 3 adorable children, a daughter and two little twin boys. Ms. Lal believes that it is the work of stalwarts like Gerald Durrell, James Herriot and Bill Bryson, who wrote humorous slice of life stories.
When asked what was it that pushed her to make the leap from blogging to publishing she says it was the near death experience of having her twins that made her realize how short life really is, and how important it was for her to accomplish her one dream to be a published author.

Yahsodhara is a self-confessed funny bones. She has always wished to make her writing light, simple, relatable yet bitingly funny. Ove the course of the event it becomes visible that yashodhara is funny and amusing in real life as well as in her writing.
Through the question answer sessions most bloggers asked about the journey she undertook to publish herself and the process behind it, Yash at all times tells all the people that the true story lies within them and perseverance is the key to writing. She advises young authors that building a routine of sitting on a desk, picking up a pen and a notebook every day is the only way to overcome the so called writer’s blocks.
As you read this it is not anyone else except for the ‘little voice’ in your head that is reading it for you. Yashodhara believes that it is this voice that is our biggest critic, and to stop listening to it is the first step we have to take. Writing a book is a long and arduous process, one can never lose heart and to be presumptuous about ones own self is the biggest problem!
