Rajouri garden has been one competitive area when it comes to food, and with the plethora of pubs, cafes and lounges sprouting up in a short time, the dining scene has elevated to a whole new level. The clientele visiting this area has now moved on from normal restaurants to stylish new eateries. Factory Bistro and Bar is the new addition to this area which is brain child of Udit Bagga and Udit Bhasin who also own the successful NH44 located just a level below this place. The rustic looking industrial décor stays true to the name and the theme of the place which is dim lit yet very lively with orange and black tone interiors. The food is served in spades and shovels, the cutlery has wrenched corners and the staff wears utility belts as uniforms which look like a common factory worker.
The Bar menu is not varied but has an interesting list of some nicely blended signature cocktails. One must try the Caribbean blast, a mix of rum, blue Curacao, and Malibu liqueur with a hint of nutmeg. The Bourbon-tea-ni also should be on the wish list which is a blend of bourbon whiskey, tea, grape juice and bartender’s spice mix.
Chef Sanjeev Takyar who also heads the kitchen brigade at the NH44 has crafted a menu suitable for all palates. One must try the fusion flavours of the crispy Chicken and Maggi Tacos and the oriental Coriander Chicken dim sums, Tapas Style Chili Chicken. In the mains, The Factory style Grilled Chicken is highly recommended and also the nutty Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. Due to a popular demand, the signature desserts of NH44, Chukandar ka halwa and Gil-e Bahisht are also a part of the dessert listing at the factory which can’t go unmissed.
All you party loving people out there, Plan your next get together at The Factory Bistro and Bar which certainly is a great amalgamation of a nice concept with great food and beverage offerings and some foot tapping music. Cheers….!
