Cyber Hub is located in the DLF Cyber City in Gurgaon. The place has has already gained a status of “Mecca for Corporates”. The Corporate Hub may be a new kid on the block with a history tracing back to past two or three years however, it has certainly managed to raise eyebrows of people who don’t mind shelling out moolah to feed themselves with good time. The latest Buzzspot in DLF cyber hub is The People & Co which works on a stunning new concept devoted to collective experiences of eating, drinking and laughing together under one roof.
Established by the curators of the first ever Comedy Club in the country, six years ago in Mumbai called the Canvas Laugh Club. Moving from what was created in Mumbai, the Delhi venue has been designed to offer varied experiences from their different venues including a Restaurant know as the Plate, Bar known as Public and Comedy club known as Canvas.
Food Talks
Journey started with one of their signature cocktails called 12 O’ Clock. It comprised of coriander liqueur, orange chunks and lime juice. First dish to arrive was Pizza Tuscany. A paper thin Pizza preparation that is not typically circular but, uniquely rectangular made with fresh homemade pilati pomodoro sauce, apple-wood smoked chicken, a mix of young and red cheddar, caramelized onions, sundried tomato pesto tossed arugula leaves.
The Prawn dumpling with seaweed is another one of the must haves.
One can also try out a wide array of Salads and Soups from their menu. Our favourite being the Mushroom and Sweet corn tom yum soup which went well along with the Greek Salad with Feta and Olives. In the mains, I cannot help but slip in a short note on the star of the restaurant, The Peking Duck. Brought out on a platter and exquisitely sliced, it is then rolled into pancakes with a sauce that perfectly complements the juicy, soft duck. Last but not the least on our plat was caramelised Potato Gnocchi with green peas and sundried tomatoes in saffron sage.
The People & Co caters to every ones need, featuring one and only laughter club in Delhi, a full service bar, lounge and café area for dining service.
