A couple of decades back, there were a very limited authentic French cuisine restaurants in New Delhi. One could only find them in 5 star hotels and was certainly considered expensive. The love for French food has changed drastically over the years and it is no more over styled, over hyped and over priced as quite a few of restaurants serving contemporary French cuisine have sprouted up.
Le Bistro Du Parc is a quaint little French eatery located in a corner of Moolchand market in defence colony. We were there for lunch though, when it was bustling, the soothing music and natural lights added more to the charm of the place.Divided into two levels, space is nicely used with ample sitting. The upper level has a beautiful balcony area whereas the ground level has a small bar and a visible kitchen where you can see your food being cooked live.
The variety of food is enormous and it not very heavily priced. One must try the GAZPACHO SOUP, served chilled with feta cheese, melons and balsamic. From the salad section, FENNEL and ORANGE QUINOA SALAD is a great pick. The signature LAMB CONFIT WITH RED ONION JAM should not be missed. It’s juicy, meaty and delicious. End your meal on a sweet note with a warm and fluffy VALHRONA CHOCOLATE CAKE FONDANT, and a citrus and light LEMON MIRENGUE TART.
A perfect spot for a friend’s get together or a date, Le Bistro Du Parc satisfies your palate with an extremely soothing atmosphere.
