Taipan at The Oberoi has a new Dim Sum chef and he is rolling out some magic. The first ever luxury hotel in Delhi NCR is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year and what better way to impress the patrons. The 3 decade old restaurant has been known to serve out authentic Chinese cuisine with ingredients sourced from Mainland China itself.

Understated luxury has always been a hallmark of the Oberoi group and it continues here. The restaurants has not gone undergone much refurbishment, hence giving that warm feeling of eating in an Asian restaurant with soft music playing at the background.

There is a homemade Ginger Ale to start off. Sprightly yet refreshing, this is one drink you can have glasses of. Along with pots of Jasmine Tea, it makes sure that your meal does not stretch you too much.

We recommend the Steamed Shrimp and Asparagus dumpling, the Duck Rolls, the Char Siu Bao and the Bird’s Nest. The seafood dumplings explode with fresh watery flavours, while the sweet flavours of the caramelised Pork leave you thoroughly satisfy you. The Bird’s Nest is duck rolled in with potato.
