Here is our first recipe and a very easy and creative one. Chicken is a favorite ingredient of any chef for starters as it cooks real fast and people do not like to wait for starters at all. Also it can easily blend with any taste you apply on it using various spices and seasonings from cuisines round the world. For learning chef chicken is an easy foothold for entering into the world of non veg cooking. This recipe of chicken breast rolls is a fusion of Indian and European cooking with a slight touch of Chinese in it.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Chicken Breasts (as large as you can get)
  • 200gms minced meat (keema)
  • 1 medium Capsicum, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 50gms garlic, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • 0.75 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Oats and bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Recipe:

1. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and add ginger and garlic. As soon as they turn brown add onion and saute till they get golden brown.

 

2. Now add capsicum and cook for 4-5 minutes till the point everything starts blending into each other. Now add keema (Minced Meat)  and cook well on medium flame for 4-5 minutes and add soy sauce.

3. Cook for 10 minutes more on low flame and remove it from burner. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes. In that time prepare the Chicken Breasts. Beat them up with your hand to make them lean. Chicken breasts does not have natural cavity for fillings so we have to be careful with the next step so that the breast piece does not get wasted. Slice it from middle of its end and slowly cut your way to insides. Widen the cavity with your fingers.

 

4. Now as the filling has cooled down sufficiently we can add a raw egg to it and mix well. Now fill this mix in the cavities of the chicken breasts.

 

5. In a plate, melt butter and in other place bread and oat crumbs. Gently rub the filled chicken breasts first on butter, then on crumbs. Make sure the breasts are covered in crumbs as much as possible.

6. Now preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius (400 degree Fahrenheit) and place the breasts on oven rack. Gently brush olive oil on both sides and cook it for 40 minutes till the chicken meat is cooked fine.

7. Now the chicken breast rolls are ready. Cut them into pieces and serve with your favorite sauce. I would recommend thousand island sauce or green mint sauce or even tomato ketchup.
