In the hustle bustle of so many cafe’s and restaurants in town, if you want to grab a chance to enjoy the barbecuing of your own snacks, then head to “The Barbecue Company” the latest buzzspot on Jail Road. This casual dining restaurant has a wide seating capacity on its two floors. On our visit the place was full and in spite of that service was phenomenal. Each of the server was rapt in serving and wanted to serve you with best of his abilities. Every table has its own barbecue in the center of the table where you can butter up your snacks and grill them accordingly. The place is offering you with veg and non veg buffet, cutting you some slack to choose what to order.
We started with a wide array of starters and are served with 3 kinds of sauces mustard sauce with a curd base, garlic mayonnaise and tomato salsa.
Kurkure fish was properly marinated and then fried making it crispy from outside and at the same time soft and juicy from inside with a lip smacking flavor. Salsa potato which was an innovative form of aloo pakora having a salsa mayonnaise and onion over it. Mexican pineapple was a unique dish which is prepared by first dipping the pineapples in tomato sauce, saunth, black pepper and salt and after that it is grilled to give it a luscious flavor. Lehsooni prawns conquered the meal with its sour taste and softness. Other mouth-watering snacks were Angara chicken tikka with a smoky flavor, Mutton salakhe having a very toothsome savor. Moving to the buffet there is a salad counter with variety of salads like kimchi salad, chicken garden salad and each of them is worth a try. The live pasta station will serve you the some yummylicious pasta of your own choice. Talking about the mains Murgh Dum biryani was having the apt spices and was very tasteful. Murgh makhan wala is a total treat with a sweet and tangy flavor. Prawn fried rice and Fish in oyster sauce are a must try.
Desserts consisted of an array of cakes along with Gulab jamun and Gulabi kheer which made my day, but do not leave behind their Chocolate brownie which is a bang on.
The drinks were complimenting the food well like Peru pyala made from guava juice and spices which was a hot and spicy drink flavorful enough to enhance my taste buds and their LIIT is the cherry on the cake.
Hadn’t had nice family time then this is the place for you. Eat, laugh and enjoy barbecuing your snacks with your loved ones.
