Turns 20

The Great Kebab Factory turns 20 and we are freaking excited. One of the best places to serve kebabs in Delhi, The Great Kebab Factory at the Radisson Blu Plaza, Mahipalpur is one of the flagbearers of the serving a range of Kebabs that I wouldn’t have tried out anyplace else. As the TGKF celebrates its birthday on 11th August, it is serving out a special menu for the whole month of August that selects the best from all the twenty years. Chef Vakil Ahmed’s superlative flavours are something that I have enjoyed for quite some time and I am not going to stop now. 

Non Veg Kebabs at The Great Kebab Factory

One of the Kebabs that has always impressed me at TGKF is the Mutton Galawati. Made with a combination of spices and minced meat, it is served with an Ulte Tawa ka Parantha that makes it flavours all the more delectable. Another one of the minced meat Kebabs is the Kakori Kebab. Although pretty similar to the Seekh Kebab, it is even more silken smooth with a typically strong flavour of nutmeg dominating it. We also recommend the Burra Kebab which has two ribs with soft succulent meat.

Onto the vegetarian ones, I totally fall for the ubiquitous Litchi Kebab which has a hint of sweetness combined with its savory flavour. There’s also a Paan that attracts my attention for more than a fair bit with the explosive flavour of Paan mixed with the other flavours. 

Desserts at The Great Kebab Factory

Along with a serving of these Kebabs, the meal also a selection of mains and desserts that will fill up any remaining space in your stomach. The Quinoa Sewaiyya Kheer and the Coconut Rasmalai with a Salty Caramel are two options that you should definitely binge on.
