I may not be a sandwich lover, but whenever I crave for something which is quick to prepare, not too fatty yet delicious, I run into my kitchen and assemble up this light weight sandwich which not only fills me up but also pamper my taste buds without making me feel guilty. The recipe is so easy that even a 10 year old can execute it to perfection. Check it out for yourself.
INGRIDIENTS:
- Whole wheat bread : 4 slices
- Boneless chicken boiled : 200 gms
- Hung curd : 2 large tablespoon
- Lettuce : 2 leaves
- Crushed black pepper : 1 teaspoon
- Dry Oregano : ¾ teaspoon
- Finely chopped tomato : 1 tablespoon
- Finely chopped onion : 1 tablespoon
- Salt : According to taste
METHOD:
- Slice the chicken into thin strips and add into the mixing bowl
- In the bowl add, hung curd, chopped tomato, chopped onion, crushed black pepper, oregano and salt. Mix it up nicely and leave the mixture aside.
- Cut the edges of the bread, place the lettuce on the bread and spread the mixture aside.
- Finish the sandwich, garnish with a cherry tomato and enjoy with fries.
TIPS: Only use hung curd so the filling is of a thick consistency.
