Brazilian Food makes a splash as Wildfire at Crowne Plaza Gurgaon launches a new world menu.
A dinner set among low lighting with bright fires giving an aura of the jungle, the only restaurant in Delhi NCR to serve Brazilian Food gets it’s ambiance down to a point. Skewer bearing chefs descend down on you and cut a slice for you right at the table. A meataholics dream come true, Wildfire ladles out pretty much everything the Indian palate may have ever tasted.
We start off with a twist off on the classic Sangria. This time, it’s not just the fruits that undergo the twist, but even the base is converted to beer. A light sprightly drink with the fizz of beer shooting through the sweet and sour apples, oranges, kiwis, dragon fruit and watermelon.
The wild mushroom soup is an earthy delight of slow cooked mushrooms served in a fiery jus and covered with a thick creamy gravy. The Salad counter throws together some delectable mixes with the aubergine salad impressing the most. A whole gamut of dressings lies close by for your customisation.
The Churrascaria selection comes surrounded by a red bean pilaf, some tzatziki and some mini pita bread. The Coxa de Frango is a roasted chicken sprinkled with the Chef’s secret spicy mix. Tender chicken that explodes in your mouth with every bite. The tenderloin, Fraldinha is cooked to a perfect medium rare. The juices virtually trickle out every time the knife slices through the meat. The prawns, Camarao jiggle up a medley of flavours with the saltiness from the sea food complementing the mustard seasoning perfectly.
The desserts hold their own with the raspberry cheesecake and the tiramisu providing the perfect ending to the night’s shenanigans.
Wildfire’s Brazilian style of fine dining really does leave a mark. A place you would like to come back to when having your meat cravings.
