Cyber Hub is located in the DLF Cyber City in Gurgaon. The place has has already gained a status of “Mecca for Corporates”. The Corporate Hub may be a new kid on the block with a history tracing back to past two or three years however, it has certainly managed to raise eyebrows of people who don’t mind shelling out moolah to feed themselves with good time. If we had a dim sum for every time a new restaurant would have opened in Cyber Hub. I am sure that we’d be rolling in the dough. Thankfully its newest entrant, Twist, is all about dim sums along with small plates and a wide variety of innovative cocktails and mocktails.
The place offers two different seating options for your varying moods. The half side of the restaurant is dedicated to fine dining and the other side offers a more chill bar ambience. The restaurant serves dishes of Chinese and Asian cuisines with a twist. The twist is that they serve the dishes in small quantities, in order to allow you to order 3-4 dishes to enjoy an assortment of dishes. The welcoming staff is courteous and quick in response.
We started with Orchid Mushrooms which were stuffed with silken tofu and further tossed in their signature tangy sauce. Lusun Jing, was next dish on our plate. Fresh asparagus stems were tossed in light soy sauce and topped with burnt garlic. It turned out to be a healthy and lip smacking combination. The star of the day for me was the Tofu Crunch. Crispy Silken Tofu is being served with sesame dressing. A simple dish with a blast of flavours.
Heading to the mains we tried out the Green Thai curry which was definitely on the list. It had that soft sweetness and smooth texture gifted by the coconut milk and vegetables submersed into it with so much simplicity. It’s creamy and divine taste blended perfectly with non-oily rice.The overall experience can be simply summarized into two words: Delightful and peaceful.
