Cafe StayWoke enters Gurgaon and we are simply loving it. Their menu expands from breakfast to dinner and we simply can’t get enough of it. What really works is that their food has a gourmet touch yet the portion sizes are huge. Good quality ingredients yet price points are pocket friendly. The menu is huge but each and every dish is executed beautifully. These are our top picks from their menu.
For the “healthy” foodie: Beetroot Coconut Soup
To be very honest, I was really hesitant to drink this because in summers I personally don’t relish soups. But on insistence of the owners, I decided to try it and I am SO GLAD I did. The soup is utterly delicious and the bread given on the side is toasted so well. The flavors of beetroot and coconut are so soothing to the throat. This dish is not on their main menu but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!
For the “Non-Veg” foodie: Sumac and Zartar Chicken
Cooked to an absolute perfection, the chicken is served with hummus and pumpkin relish. Juicy on each bite, this dish is a must for all the non-vegetarians.
For the street food lover: Quinoa Salad with Chickpeas
If you like bhel puri then this a salad you’ll absolute love. With chooran chutney & anaardana, this dish is every delhi street food lovers essential. Mint leaves and coriander leaves, adds the necessary freshness that is required for the summers. What really works are the raw mango pieces which adds the tanginess to the whole dish. Absolutely loved it!
For the breakfast: Latino Melt
From their breakfast menu this dish simply won my heart. The egg is stuffed inside a tortilla and served along with avocado, salsa and sour cream. The crispiness of tortilla shell with the gooey egg is such a yummy combination. Absolutely loved it!
For the dinner: Baked Paneer Lababdar
If curries are your thing, then this is the main dish I’ll highly recommend. The curry is made of tomato puree and is yum-yum-yummm. Served with malabar paratha and lachcha pyaaz, this dish is a complete meal in itself.
These are my top picks from Cafe StayWoke menu. Let me know what all did you try!
