The Califronia based burger chain is the third burger brand to enter into the Indian market since last year after Burger King and Wendy’s. Carl’s Jr will launch its first restaurant in India at Select Citywalk mall, Saket on August 8.
Going back to the history, Carl’s Jr is the brainchild of Carl Karcher who had a hot dog cart and a vision to make Carl’s Jr a global brand. Today Carl’s Jr is one of the premier burger brands in the world with over 3500 restaurants in 36 countries.

Carl’s Jr has introduced a specially designed menu dedicated to the Indian palate along with unique offerings such as beer on tap and an all-you-can-drink soft beverages bar.
One of their signature burger is The Famous Star which is a chargrilled Moroccan spiced chicken served with ketchup and mayo. For a more king sized experience they serve a Super Star with cheese which is consisting of Two- chargrilled, Moroccan spiced chicken burger topped with two humongous cheese slices.
They offer a variety of Chargrilled chicken fillets which is served on honey wheat bun. We strongly recommend you their Tandoori Pepper chicken fillet which is a well seasoned chargrilled burger topped with a juicy tandoori chicken patty and tandoori mayo. But the star of the day for us is the Mango Jalapeño Pepper chicken fillet which is tangy and has a spicy after taste which is ideal for our Indian palette.
The vegetarian chargrilled specialities includes, The thick cut paneer which is chargrilled to perfection and is known as their Tandoori Paneer Burger. The tandoori 9 – jewel is a premium and one of a kind breaded patty consisting of 9 vegetables and is topped with their mango tandoori sauce.
For sides one must not neglect their wasabi fries and I am glad finally someone is doing it in our city and their fine and crisp hand breaded Onion Rings.
