Delhi is exploding with cafes and bars and every other day people are coming up with innovative themes to attract and please the customers. Recent addition to this list is the Filmy Café and Bar which is going to reap the benefits of its location and different mood. The café is presented by Thakur Bhuvan Singh, who is also the person behind the great success of DeeZ Biryani and Kebabs. He came up with this concept along with Chef Lalit Singh and ended up with something which is going to be a popular spot for movie lovers.

About the Café:
The Filmy Café and Bar is situated just outside the entrance of the Plaza Cinema at the first floor. People, who come out of the cinema with the mind set of everything filmy, will surely like to dine here. It’s all about the cinema, and the ambiance speaks for it. The walls are decorated with illustrations of famous dialogues in movies. The uniforms of the staff and even the cushion covers are printed with Bollywood and Hollywood theme based pictures. They also managed to procure PK’s Radio and 300’s helmet which are proudly displayed. The 1500 sq. ft. space is basically divided into two sections. One is more towards Bollywood style and the other half is Hollywood section. The change in lighting, paintings and décor will make you feel the change. The DJ plays all sorts of music for the leisure of everyone in the Filmy Café.

The launch event:
The launch of the Filmy café was a grand party, where well known socialites also made their presence. Everyone made their entry by clapping the movie clapper at the entrance. The menu of the party had delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks. Falafel pita pockets were nicely stuffed with tomatoes and sauce and proved to be a perfect company with the cocktails. Other items were mini burgers, chilli potatoes, pizza, spring roll, kebabs, chilli chicken and a lot more. The cocktails were given interesting names like Mojo Hito, Terminator LiiT, Sex and city, 007tini. A cake was cut by the owner Bhuvan Singh with his family to celebrate the start of this venture.
