I did not know if anything like the Fab Bag existed till I received the first bag off the 3 month subscription as a gift on my birthday. Initially, I liked the concept but wasn’t really swept away. Over the three months, I went from liking the bag to hating it (mainly because of late delivery) to loving it. I am writing about this a little late considering mine was a April-May-June subscription, but that is because I wanted to write about the products I absolutely loved and I took my time to try them out. I loved the following products, but that doesn’t mean that I did not like the rest of the products, I just loved these enough to recommend!
April Fab Bag
Off all the products in this Fab Bag, I loved the Palladio Herbal Lipstick-Meadow Sweet the most. It is my favourite shade to wear to office every day. The colour is neutral and works for my olive skin tone. It has a very smooth application, and it smells really good.
May Fab Bag
SaND for Soapaholics-Oh Curcumal is amazing. It has all natural ingredients, and it smells so earthy. It helps remove tanning, and leaves skin soft and supple. The product works really well for oily skin. This is a product that I would like to buy again and again and again!
VANA by Vana Vidhi-Oriental Rice Paddy Face & Body Scrub makes the skin feel fresh and soft, and adds a glow to the skin. I like to use it on my face, arms, neck, and shoulders when going out somewhere special.
I did not want to use Be A Bombshell One Stick-Buckwild on my lips or cheeks and I am not really into eyeshadows. So what did I do? Well, I came across this new technique called ‘Strobing’ (or, as makeup veterans know it – ‘Highlighting’). The light shimmer and the colour works really well.
June Fab Bag
For people with oily skin looking for a good, light moisturiser that suits their skin type, Ananda Spa Light Moisturiser for Oily Skin is a great product. It is non-greasy and it really hydrates the skin. I find the strong smell a put-off, but overall the product is pretty cool.
Smooth application and long-lasting nail colour makes Cuccio Colour – Totally Tokyo special. It is a very pretty fuchsia pink and has a very subtle gold glitter.
Yet another product in this FabBag that suits my skin type is Votre Deep Pore Cleansing Clay Masque. It feels so natural. My skin feels great using it. I absolutely love it.
Conclusion
FabBag has introduced me to some awesome products. Though late delivery and that rare damaged product can make you hate them, but it’s better to bring it to notice as they try to rectify the problem, at least in my case they did.
