With an effective screening policy in place, this is one of the rare places where you will never find any complaints about the crowd. Spread across two floors, the lower floor houses an enormous wooden bar along with different types of seating.

There’s also a terrace outside to enjoy the evening breeze. The rooftop houses another place to kick your feet back and relax with your friends as you hear either some live band playing. Some days you might just find Coldplay’s Chris Martin jamming along too.

The ebullient duo of Harman and Megha have always been at the helm of innovation. We sit down with them to have a go at their newly designed menu. The menu has managed to get a pulse from the crowd. They actually went around a few days asking what their patrons will like, rustled it up and put the best on their menu.

Esther suggests two of their Classic Intoxicology drinks. There’s a smashing Old Fashioned and a crispy Juniper Pimms. The Old Fashioned is perfectly concocted with a delicate balance between the bitters and the castor sugar while the Juniper Pimms is a sprightful drink with lime and cucumber dominating the taste along with a dash of coriander.

We start off with the dynamic Chakna Platter. A perennial favourite, the Chakna Platter is apt for those who plan a drink with their friends. There’s some groundnuts tossed with some tomatoes, onions and lime, some popcorn, some fried green peas and some omnipresent papad.

The Bruschettas are next in line. 3 platters full of pesto, tomatoes, olives, cottage cheese and mushroom ragu. A bit on the softer side, but the fresh crunchy tastes from the first two and the creamy earthy tastes from the mushroom impress a lot.

Our friends over at Little Black Book Delhi suggested the pepperoni pizza and we dig into that. Thin crust pizza with loads of cheese and pepperoni slices. It’s a dish best consumed hot.

We also have a dig at Megha’s favourite creation, the Bacon Jam Sandwich. An artery clogging bomb, the myriad of tastes on this one takes flight with some crispy fries and a salad by the side.

We move onto the mains. 3 dishes from 3 different parts of the world. There’s a decadently made Thai Curry with some steamed rice.

A beautiful earthy spicy keema with a buttered crispy pao.

But their most stupendous creation is the smoked pork curry with bamboo shoot. Served with sticky rice, this simply flavoured curry takes its flavours from the smoked pork, a bit from the Bamboo and a lot of heat from the Raja Mircha.

You got to finish off your meals with either the Tiramisu or the Banoffee pie. Two opposite ends of spectrum with the Banoffee being sinfully sweet and the Tiramisu having the distinct flavour of coffee.
