This Onam, Eros hotel launched a fascinating journey of the tastes of southern and coastal India. The South Indian festival was started on 27th august 2015 and will end on 5th September 2015 and the menu has been crafted under master expertise of Executive Chef Suprabhat Roy and Food and Beverage Manager Mr. Umesh Dalal.
The restaurant staff dressed up in traditional south Indian attires along with a lovely traditional setting, with artistic hangings, coloured rangolis and a graceful kuchipudhi dance performance gave us the true feel of the Deccan.
The delectable food simply floored us, the variety was enormous. Starting off with the refreshing welcome drink BUTTERMILK, the starters DAAL VADHAS, PEPPER CHICKEN and RAVA FRIED PRAWNS followed by the delicious south Indian delicacies like CHETTINAD CHICKEN, MIRCHI KA SAAALAN , GOSHT BIRYANI and many more impress even the most staunchest of non believers. The mains were accompanied by freshly prepared SANNAS, APPAMS and STEAMING RICE. The meal ended up with delicious desert, KESARI BATH, other traditional South Indian sweets and steaming hot FILTER COFFEE.
