Food Talks
Our team was invited to try out the scrumptious food served by this newly opened restaurant. A special curated menu was prepared by their chef which had a bouquet of their signature and popular dishes handpicked from the main menu.
We started with the Dahi Sav Golgogappa and Chicken golgappa. The Chicken golgappa to my surprise had chunks of chicken marinated in oriental sauce. The veg counterpart on the other hand had perfect balance of flavours. Next in line was the Firdausi dahi kebab, which was an ideal dahi kebab as it was crunchy from outside and gooey from inside. Pizza ala funghi was a square shaped thin crust mushroom pizza with truffle oil acting as the icing on the cake. Nizami Shaami kebab is one of my favourite appetiser. It had a great balance of flavours and was not too oily and spicy.
For the mains we tried the Fish and Chips. Authentic British fish and chips consisted of a high-quality flaky white fish (basa) deep-fried in a thin, crispy batter served on a bed of potato fries along with tartar dip. Dal e frontier was their take on Dal Bukhara it was low creaminess and spiciness and went well with the pudina parantha.
We ended our meal on a sweet note with thier signature desserts. The Red Velvet pastry was an ideal dessert. It was not too sweet and the mascarpone cheese combined with beetroot provided it an authentic touch.
