I have been a resident of Indirapuram for nearly seven years now and as a food blogger, have always been forced to take more than an hour’s ride into Delhi for any sort of review. The reason behind this essentially has been due to the lack of any luxury hospitality brands in Uttar Pradesh. Although Gurgaon has shot to fame in spite of a young and vibrant crowd in Noida, it has still failed to attract any of the popular hospitality brands to itself. But the relaunch of the Radisson Blu MBD Noida has bright some hope back.
The hotel has relaunched itself with a neo-classical vibe which incorporates part of the Victorian age design with modern classics. I’ll tell you about few of the features that should modify your decision on where to stay in Delhi NCR the next time you’re making a trip here.
One of the ways that any hotel impresses you is by the first look when you enter the lobby. This hotel has some huge chandeliers and a huge fireplace to pique your interest. The all-day Brassiere SXVIII on the ground floor has also been refurbished and gives touches of the Victorian age feel. The chairs and the cutlery have also been made to match up with the environs.
I head over to the Prive Collection floor where you have transported back to Medieval age England. Right from the walls to the lights hanging overhead, there is a touch of unbridled luxury at this hotel. My room opens into a queen sized bed which is higher than usual and a footstool resides at its bottom, similar to the earlier times. A wooden chest and writing table are also present in the room along with drapes that give you a feel of staying in a kingdom of English opulence. Not only that, even the bathroom is adorned with shades of luxury. But there are some modern touches as well. The mood styled lighting allows you to manipulate the lights in your room including the chandelier.
I head over to the Brassiere for my dinner and breakfast and do love the continental and Indian dishes that have been put out. The spread is large and allows you to experience multiple flavors at the same time without much of an overlap. The restaurant also has a private dining space where you can also have your parties extending to the poolside. The Radisson Blu MBD Noida also has two other places to dine: RED and Made in India, both of which you can read on our blog.
