A quaint little French Bistro in one of the most unexpected of places. West Delhi is not home to places serving traditional European fare specially French, but Head Chef and owner Dhruv Relan’s masterful capabilities in the kitchen and dogged determination is making this one of the featured places in Delhi NCR.

The interiors are quirky. The menu is scribbled out on a board. The chef himself makes rounds of the tables. A few things probably that you wouldn’t expect for a West Delhi joint.

We start off with a platter of garlic breads. Slurped up with a dollop of cheese, exotic flavours of green and black olives, chilli and jalapeños start your meal off perfectly.

A glass of refreshing Mint Lemonade works as the perfect accompaniment. The strong acidity from the lemon is beautifully offset with freshness of the mint.

The Turkish mutton roll rocks you back with some robust meaty flavours. A dish so simplistic in nature, that the hand cut fries accompanying it seems a little bit forced.

An impressive selection of pizzas and pastas. We try something off track here. The Tomatino is a pizza which will find lots of takers on the market. Chicken spiced with mustard in a bed of pecorino cheese with some earthy mushrooms and tangy jalapeños to balance the flavours. A crispy thin base cooked perfectly makes for a pizza worth remembering.

The next dish is something that Dhruv holds close to his heart. A simple pan roasted chicken with a decadent potato puree and a layer of chicken jus. The umami from the chicken jus and mildly sweet creaminess from the puree combine in a match made in heaven. Just close your eyes for a second to enjoy the marvel of flavours upon your palate.

We end our meal with a delicate home brewed organic coffee and a decadently crafted Tiramisu. The coffee has a lovely buttery aftertaste and complements the sweet, creamy, bitter Tiramisu to a perfection.
