South Delhi has recently seen a lot of new food entrants and when we say NEW FOOD ENTRANTS, we mean individuals redefining food. So these are our top 5 picks.
Aku’s Brrgrrr Co
This place has completely redefined the “burger” market in Delhi and we are loving it. Price points are a little high but they are worth every single rupee. In veg, we recommend the Master Wu. The Master Wu is a mushroom patty with caramelized onions and jalapeño spread. The patty is so juicy and the buns are so soft with crispness of onions, each bite is a little piece of heaven. This burger is so well made that a lot of non vegetarians prefer this over their chicken burgers. Another dish that we highly recommend are their Truffle fries.
Evoos- Eatery and Pizzeria
This place is redefining the “Italian” cuisine. Big portions sizes with good quality ingredients. We highly recommend their Melanzana pizza. Topped with buffalo cheese and rocket leaves, this pizza is really refreshing. There is a perfect balance between the cheese and dough; each bite is “yummy-in-my-tummy” experience. Their pumpkin soup is also something that we highly recommend.
Wok Me
This place has made good Chinese food highly accessible. What really works is that its easy, TO-GO and you can customize your wok (the exact amount of veggies, rice, protein, noodles etc). Almost all the sauces are done right but we recommend their Tokyo drift sauce.
Big Fat Sandwich
From the owners of Big Fat Sandwich, comes their new venture on Pizzas and we are absolutely loving it. Their marinara sauce is to die for and is utterly delicious. Their deep dish pizzas are something that we recommend. (see the cover photo for reference)
Rule the Rolls
You might know it better as Khan Chacha, the irony is that RULE THE ROLLS is the REAL KHAN CHACHA, who is back in Khan Market to fight the brand he created. He lost his brand due to cunningness of his business partners!! But they are back and they are definitely here to stay. You can absolutely taste the difference between the quality of two!! We highly recommend their paneer tikka roll. Most of the places paneer rolls are chewy but rule the rolls is keeping the taste right.
