Origins, Vida Emirates Hills, Dubai
Let’s continue with our Dubai Dairies and a first few of our meals happened at the Vida Emirates Hills. We totally fell in love with the greenery that surrounds the main restaurant: Origins. With light flowing in through the large windows, the colour contrasts on this restaurant are simply amazing. There are quite a few potted plants around the room along with a contemporary design that’s quite photogenic. With a lovely Breakfast spread that features Continental and Middle-Eastern fare including a variety of breads, Mezze platters and bottles of freshly squeezed juice including a Green Apple one that you can try out, this restaurant is a breeze to head to in the mornings.
Along with all of this, you can order one special main course. For the mains of the breakfast, we ordered out a couple of grilled Sausages and Eggs Benedict while for the second day we ordered Avocado Toast and Scrambled Eggs on Toast. For Lunch, we ordered a delectable Angus Beef Burger that’s juicy to the core and some Lamb Chops decadently cooked to a medium-rare. For dessert, we dug into some their ice cream including the Saffron and Basil flavours.
