Just imagine someone special is coming and you want to impress them with your cooking skills. You can prepare this easy and extremely yummy dessert.
Whats’s the best part? You don’t even need an oven because it’s a no bake recipe!
Let’s get started!!
Ingredients
- Marie biscuits
- Butter (1/4th piece of big butter)
- Castor sugar (bhura cheeni) (half small bowl)
- Full whipped cream ( I used amul)
- One banana
- Milkmaid or caramel
- One chocolate (optional)
Procedure
- If you have a food processor, then grind biscuits and castor sugar in it, if you don’t have one you can put marie biscuits in clean cloth and mash it with a belan
- Now add melted butter in it and mix it properly
- In a square bowl put butter paper (preferable) or aluminium foil properly, now add this mixture and press it with a small bowl to make it plain
- Keep it in fridge for an hour
- If you don’t have caramel, you can prepare it with an unopened can of Milkmaid. Take the unopened can and submerge it in a pot full of water and keep it for boiling for about 30 min. (Remember to keep the water level above the tin always or it can burst) If you have already opened tin then you can use double boiler method as I did.
- Keep it in fridge for an hour.
- The biscuit base must be ready to take out from fridge. Pour this cool caramel on it, spread it and put cut banana slices.
- Now pour the whipped cream over this evenly.
- For decoration you can use one chocolate. Scrape the chocolate with a knife and put it over the cream.
- Keep this in a fridge (covered) for 4-5 hours
Voila…your dessert is ready!
PS- Don’t lose heart if you don’t get it right the first time. (happened with me)
It takes a few tries to make it like a professional.
Enjoy!
