Yes you heard that right !
This fall, Nando’s has decided to introduce a whole new vegetarian menu , in order to cater to their Desi Peri-Peri fans. If you are a vegetarian and have refrained yourself from indulging in the ohh-so fantastico Peri-Peri , then wait no more. We try out their menu at the Cyber Hub outlet.
Their new menu is something to look forward to. As you go sipping on your coolers and glance through the menu card, you can find a wide range of options, starting from the appetizers and salads to the mains. Vegetarian food has always been considered to be boring but the twist here is like any other Bollywood movie, add some Per-Peri and your ready for a blockbuster. It has romance like the breezy drinks, suspense like the delicious wraps and action like the classic Mild to Hot Peri-Peri sauce.
We do like appetizers but when we are starving , all we look for is the mains but here at Nando’s you would expect yourself to try everything at offer because its DELICIOUS !!
The share all platter is where we found my reckoning. It has the smoked red pepper dip ( what flavors… voila ! ) accompanied by the traditional tahini humus dip, olives and grilled pita. They actually put in efforts to cut the pita into strips to make it all easy-peezy for the eaters. The EXOTIC addition to the menu is the Paneer and Watermelon grilled dish, served on a skewer with a drizzle of the Peri-Peri sauce which cause an explosion of tanginess and sweetness in your mouth.
With this down our belly, we continued my journey to the mains with sips of pomegranate cooler and some potato wedges here and there. For the mains it was a Wrap with its enfolded dream like fillers of Paneer and Mushroom, perfectly smoked and grilled yet oozing out the Per-Peri sauces. To tame the flavors down in the end, it was the sinful carrot cake which simply melts in your mouth.
