Le Meridien Delhi is one of my favorite places to try out Indian food, the primary reason being Chef Davinder Kumar’s Kebabs at Eau De Monsoon. So when I heard that the restaurant was celebrating a Mother’s Day Brunch, I decided to head over there to try another assortment of Chef’s creations.

What all did I eat at the Mother’s Day Brunch?
North Indians have always been in love with the quintessential Chicken Tikka. Although I order myself a plate of the Dual Chicken Tikka which has Two Classical Chicken Tikkas, a Single Lehsuni (Garlic) Chicken Tikkas and the chutney in the form of Jelly blocks, I am pleasantly surprised with the Paneer Tikka though. Stuffed with Murabba and some hazelnuts, the Paneer Tikka has a decadent range of flavours that I absolutely fall in love with.

For the next course, I order myself a Morels Mushroom Curry cooked with Peas along with the restaurant’s speciality: Mirchi Roti. The Morels, unlike the other mushrooms, has a rich, creamy texture and combined with the Rotis topped off with green chillies gives quite an interesting combination. I also decided to try out the Lamb Rack and am quite impressed with the soft meat that separates quite easily from the bone.
