About the menu
The menu is inspired by the street foods of Kolkata and Iti has smartly named each & every dish after a famous station. The dishes have a very comforting feel factor. For anyone who craves “ghar ka khana” this menu will definitely put an end to that craving. What really surprised me was how well the dishes went with my cocktails. The bartender has done a fantastic job of balancing the drinks to compliment the Bengali flavors.
From Beadon Street Fish Roll to Girish Park-er Shoitan Deem.
College Street Hing-er Kochuri to Chitpur Road Chicken Rezala.
From Tiretti Bazaar Prawn Dumpling to Esplanade Mughlai Porota. Vardaan Market Moong Daal Pakodi Chaat to Elgin Road Pork Momos.
Lake Market Chicken Kabiraji to Vivekanand Park Ghooghni.
The menu is a refreshing delight for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
My favorite of the day was Esplanade Mughlai Porota. Egg paratha with spicy baby potatoes paired with my “puchka pani capriojka”.
OH MY GOD! AN ABSOLUTE HEAVEN! The spicy baby potato dum aloo with fluffy stuffed egg paratha was such a delight to my tastebuds.
My favorite drink of the day was definitely the Puchka Pani Capriojka. Made from Puchka pani and paired with Gondhoraj Lemons & mint leaves, the drink was such a heavenly delight on a warm sunny day! The Gondhoraj Lemons added so much tanginess and zest to the drink. Monkey Bar Delhi you should definitely considering adding this to your main menu.
