After the tremendous success of their last event, Horn OK Please, Delhi’s first Food Truck Festival, collaborators So Delhi and GoBuzzinga came back with another food festival revolving around the theme of regional food sourced from all the over the country called Masalas Of India powered by MAGGI.

The festival took place in the heart of South Delhi at the Amphitheatre of Ansal Plaza on the 29th & 30th of April 2017, this food festival was a raging success with authentic and unique regional food including cuisines like Rajasthani, Bihari, Gujarati, Parsi, Bengali, Goan, Punjabi and North-Eastern fare to name a few!


Masalas Of India was divided into 4 different zones – North, East, South, West and each region showcased eateries such as The Godinho’s serving Goan delicacies, Ahad Sons Restaurant known for their authentic Kashmiri food, Tunday Kababi from Lucknow, Desee Dakshin primarily serving Mangalorean fare, Bombay Brunch offering Maharashtrian street food like Dabeli, Misal Pav and Bhel Puri, Mr Littiwala, another popular Bihari joint serving dishes like Litti Chokha & Murga Litti, The Biryani Co. serving Hyderabadi food like Haleem and Biryani, Bagli’s Kitchen serving Parsi food, Udaipuri serving Gujarati fare, Peninsular Kitchen serving Coastal food, Thalaivar serving Keralan fare, Rakesserie serving South Indian food, The Mustard serving Bengali food, Darjeeling Steamers serving Momos, Dzukou Tribal Kitchen serving Manipuri food, Bom Chaat Bay serving authentic Bhel puri & Sev puri from Mumbai, Ambarsar Junction serving North Indian delicacies like Brain Curry, Kake Di Hatti from Chandni Chowk besides Charan Singh Kulfi serving kulfis and chuskis.

With the summers going , it’s hard to tolerate the excessive heat. To our restore energy, we tried the new FLAVORED Himalayan water , comprising of peach , apple , strawberry flavors. Cherry on the cake being Maggi is launching 4 new regional flavours at the event called Mumbaiya Chatak, Amritsari Achari, Super Chennai & Bengali Jhaal, all of which were being sampled live with unlimited, complimentary helpings for each visitor that came to the festival.
As for entertainment, the festival had a lineup filled with homegrown artists and bands from Delhi as well as Indian regional bands to regale visitors coming to Masalas Of India.

All in all, with people flowing in of all ages, from all walks of life – Masalas Of India was a grand success!
