What an entertaining evening organised by The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. It feels so great when you meet with such known actors ‘Mona Singh’ and ‘Rohit Roy’ who were standing infront of you and telling about their upcoming play “Unfaithfully Yours”. Not only this, we also enjoyed live cooking session by them along with Chef Rohit Tokhi. The menu which was prepared specially for the evening which included some of the lipsmacking snacks like Chicken Satay, Potli Samosa, Cheese three pepper shasliks and few more. And how can I forget about the valentine’s special dishes among desserts which were Baked berry Yoghurt, Choco truffle slice and very special Flourless Chocolate pudding which was prepared by Mona and Rohit along with the chef. The dish they made was very delicious and cherished by everyone of us there.
Baked berry Yoghurt
When we asked Mona about her interest in cooking, she said, “ I love cooking and try something new to cook whenever I get free from my work. Rohit on the other hand, himself told us that he cannot cook but ofcourse he loves to eat. But still, he helped the chef in stirring up of the ingredients added in the dishes. Moving further about the discussion we had on their upcoming play ‘Unfaithfully Yours’. They told us that the play is the story about two people who aren’t married to each other yet they share a very special bond. From that day, they remain in touch with each other and continues to meet each other every year for the next 25 years. This gave us the gist of the play about what it’s all about. I wish both of them good luck for their play.
However, in real life Rohit and Mona both have a different belief. They both believe that one should be very faithful to his/her partner. Rohit also said, “I believe that marriage is a constant bond between the couple and to make the relation healthy today’s youth should understand that they are ready to compromise”. Although Rohit has his wife Mansi as his Valentine, who accompanied him at the event. While Mona Said, “This time I will be celebrating Valentines Day performing with Rohit otherwise my family is my true valentines”. All in all, it was an unforgettable event organised by The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel. A classy place to visit with such beautiful and modern décor among all the sections of hotel.
