With the launch of the Family Cooking Dates Season 3, Le Meridien unveils a whole new range of specially curated cooking sessions for family members where they can unwind and bond by learning new recipes from master chefs and innovative cooking techniques. Chef Anuj taught us his signature mushroom and chicken dishes and at the end of the session all the participants had to present their dishes to the chefs for tasting.
On the occasion, ace shooter and first Olympian for in trap shooting for women Shagun Chowdhary also came to support the initiative of Joining Hands(a non- profit organization) in association with the hotel to train and equip underprivileged women with necessary skills which will empower them to find jobs in the steadily growing hospitality sector. Motivating the girls, Ms Chowdhary was giving them a helping hand and said, “I am happy to see that Le Meridian, New Delhi has a unique way of supporting the cause of women to equip themselves to earn their livelihood in the competitive hospitality sector.”
The programme will enable the girls to undergo training in all aspects of hotel operations and experience first- hand how a food and beverage production department of a five start property functions. The best part of the programme is the girls will be granted placements in Le Meridian hotels and its counterparts at the end of the six months training programme.
