We started off with a Beetroot Carpaccio served up with some salty Goat Cheese and Candied Walnuts. A perfect start to the meal accompanied by the best from the cocktail Bar. What sets this cocktail bar apart from the others is not only the availability of alcohol brands not usually found in India, but also a range of amazing infusions that are utilised for making the cocktails. There’s also a sliced Salmon served with Salsa Verde and also a Salmon Carpaccio served with a Chili Jam.
Chef Bharadwaj also impresses with a range of flavours in his mains including Salsa Creole Pork Bao which has the South American tangy spicy flavours enveloping the sweet taste of Pork in a super soft Bao. In the Dough part of the menu, there are also two Gyoza that you must plan to get your hands on, the Pork and the Lobster & Prawn.
From the grills, we tasted the Korean Lamb Chops with a Citric Mash that’s an absolute burst of flavours upon the palate. I combined with one of the variations of Ol’ Fashioned that I found from the Gigantic Bar that dominates one side of the restaurant.
From the Umami, we go for some freshly sliced Eel served with an in-house Soy glaze that I absolutely fall in love with the combination of sweet and salt.
For the dessert, the selection is quite small yet unique. There’s a deconstructed Peanut Butter and Jam that you must try out along with the Kaya Toast La Roca Style. This Indian Tapas Bar is making all the right noises and is one place you must head to if you’re in the vicinity of the Aerocity.
Where: Wallmark1 Aerocity, Lower Ground Floor.
