KINBUCK2 was always known for its Romanian food in Connaught Place. The interiors of the place was done keeping Roman architecture in mind. Recently they have revised their menu and made it a mult-cuisine lounge. I visited the place to try out their revamped menu and these are my top picks!
FOOD TO TRY AT KINBUCK2
- Mumbai Meri Jaan-I always believe we eat food first with our eyes and presentation really matters. When Mumbai Meri Jaan was served, me and my friend just looked at the dish for some time, to simply relish its presentation. Not like the regular bhaaji, the Chef has done a beautiful job in making the masala mix of the bhaaji. The flavors are so smooth that it takes a while to guess the masalas and veggies in it. This dish is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.
(picture reference-coverphoto of the article) - Paneer Tikka Shashlik– The dish is nothing new. It has been there on many Mughlai food restaurants menu and I love when classics are executed well. The Paneer was cooked to an absolute perfection. The Paneer was juicy and not stiff (a lot of places end up serving rubbery Paneer, which I absolutely hate!). A very simple and basic dish but the Chef absolutely nailed this one. So if you are a Paneer lover like me, this dish is a must!
- Veg Stroganoff– Again a classic but if executed well, “Phir order karna toh banta hain na boss”. Creamy wild mushrooms served with rice. The portion size is quiet huge and could easily serve 2 people.

Gin Cucumber Cooler– I love Gin as a base in summer and the bartender did a fabulous job with my cocktail. The cocktail has a lot of cucumber slices which gives the entire drink a very refreshing feel. I love it when the cocktails are not too sweet and do justice to the alcohol base. Perfectly balanced, the drink went well with my food.

Hot Chocolate Brownie with Ice cream– This one is served as a sizzler, again a classic executed really well. Chocolate brownie on a sizzling pan served with melted chocolate and nuts and was a beautiful ending to my meal.

Simple menu but each and every recipe was executed really well. Come to Kinbuck2 to eat some classic recipes, cooked right! 🙂
