These days everyone is busy getting in shape and becoming healthier. Delhiites are reaching out for these ‘health shots’ more than ever and with a wide variety of pressed juices, these ‘health in a bottle’ potions are all the rage. For starters, what are cold pressed juices? And why are they better than tetra-packs and blended juices? So, they are basically juices that are produced naturally by using machines that do not produce any heat. They are extracts of the fruits and include no artificial flavours, additives or sugar. Pressed Juice is raw, minimally processed, and holds more vitamins than normal juice. Cold-pressed juices are the closest one could get to having pure, raw and fresh juice of their desired fruits and vegetables.
Being one of the pioneers of cold pressed juices in India, ANTIDOTE operates from Select City Walk mall in Saket, Delhi. The brainchild of sisters Nadia & Carol Singh along with their mother Simran Singh who is a nutritionist,ANTIDOTE has bespoke juice programmes and cleanses made with a blend of fruits, veggies, and all-natural super food extracts like noni, chlorella, green coffee, ashwagandha, mangosteen and moringa.

Towards mid-day, The Rejuvenator proves to be an ideal substitute for a meal with its ingredients of Apple, Carrot, Beetroot, Ginger and Mangosteen Extract. The juice aims at building stamina and natural detoxification.
Towards the end, The Polisher consisting of Pineapples, Peas, Arugula, Cinnamon, Peppermint, Green tea and Ashwagadhna extract.
These are priced at Rs. 250 per bottle. You could also opt for a particular program
In a nutshell, the juices didn’t score very high on the palatability test, however we loved how we felt afterwards but like they say “Don’t Drown your Indulgences, Drink your Antidote”. Just that this one is where we find ourselves struggling the most.
