Italian is one of my favorite cuisines and I recently tried out the Italian Christmas lunch at Bella Cucina, Le Meridien Gurgaon and absolutely fell in love with it. The Lunches are perfect to catch up with your besties or even for a relaxing date. We tell you the things that you must try out here.

The Antipasti

Italian food always starts with Antipasti and the plethora of cold cuts along with a glass of Pinot Grigio is always a good option. The cured meats have tons of umami flavor which I combined with some Burrata cheese. I also enjoyed the Mozzarella and Tomato salad and the Figs.

Seafood

Chef de cuisine Amit Kumar unleashes some fresh seafood as I head over for some prawns and freshly suckled calms. A bit of sea salt and a squeeze of lime is perfect to gobble them down. Some crispy prawn fritters with a garlic aioli are something that you must try out.

Pizzas

The thin crust Italian pizzas are something that I enjoy a lot. There is a burst of flavors along with the cheese that allows you to fall in love with it.

The Mains

We are in love with Risotto and the Saffron pumpkin risotto has a perfect combination of chalky rice along with the sweet yet fragrant combination.

Dolce

The dessert section has some of the famous ones from all over Europe. A good idea will be to try out the Stollen, Lintzer Tart and the Tiramisu
