Finding out new places to drink out with friends is always welcome and The Irish House provides for some lovely brews along with some scrumptious food. Located in Connaught Place, the Irish House has a long list of brews starting from Indian staples to the new on the market along with the International ones and even including a long list of Ales from the Shepherd’s Neame.
What all should you try out at The Irish House?
But the ales and the brews aren’t the only thing that characterizes the drinks menu at The Irish House. I decide to try out the Caramelized Bourbon and quite enjoy the addition of sweet flavours to the already sweet Bourbon. The Top Shelf Signatures also serves out an Old Fashioned with the twist of an Espresso along with the Irish Trash Can. There’s also a separate section on Mules, Community Cocktails and even some Beer Cocktails too.
Let’s get to the food now. The Appetisers are aplenty letting you sit down with your friends for quite a wonderful time. Our recommendations includes the Cajun Sweet Potato Fries and the Crispy Sriracha Rigatoni. In the non-vegetarian section, the Belfast Glazed Chicken Wings and the Drunken Prawns with a creamy Brandy dip are something that must try out.
The menu also features a smart section on Pizzas, Fries and Burgers that you can customize. I top off my bowl of Fries with a Mac n Cheese along with Chicken Sausage but you can choose from a selection of Mexican Salsa, Tipsy Paprika and even Lamb Bolognese. I have been obsessed with a Cubano since the time I saw the movie “Chef”. I try out the twisted Cubano and am quite impressed with the flavours. Spicy pulled pork, Hickory Barbeque Glazed Chicken and Ghost Pepper Smoked Chicken combined together with Cheddar Cheese to pique my taste buds in the best way possible.
