Fairmont is one of the world’s oldest Hotel Brands. Starting with its first property in San Francisco in 1906, Fairmont now owns some iconic properties all over the world, including the Savoy in London, The Plaza in New York, the Peace Hotel in Shanghai and the Makkah Clock Royal Tower Hotel in Makkah. The company comes to India with its flagship property in the land of royalty.
The Pink City has bore host to royalty since times immemorial. The Fairmont, Jaipur amalgamates the royalty of Rajasthan along with some world class facilities and top of the line hospitality to create a space for you that makes you keep coming back for.
A royal welcome awaits you the moment you enter the Fairmont. With the rumble of Nagadas and the delicate sounds of the Saarangi and the Santoor, rose petals shower down on you as you transcend into the lap of luxury.
With 199 rooms inclusive of 3 massive suites, you can come, lie back and enjoy the touch of royalty. Be it the super soft mattresses with the four poster beds, or the wooden floors, the LCD TV or a marble floored walk in bathroom with a separate Hammam bath, the Fairmont attends to each and every one of your luxuries.
The rooms are all roughly of the equal size with the difference lying in their view. The property is built in a fort and is divided into two parts, the residential and the conference halls thus keeping all the residential guests away from the din of the convention halls.
The different rooms include the Deluxe, Signature and Fairmont Gold . The residents of the Fairmont Gold get access to the Gold Lounge, a hotel within a hotel. An exclusive dining cum business room. The Lounge houses both a place to eat your breakfast in silence, or have a relaxed cuppa of chai by the plush pillows or conduct a small meeting in the office space.
Dressed in impeccable Rajasthani Bandgalas designed by ace designer Raghavendra Rathore, the staff courteously attends to each one of your whimsical fantasies in this architectural behemoth. With intricate paintings, embroidery and sculptures lining up the walls, this modern palace stands on about 3600 pillars.
The Parrot, which is the official insignia of the property shows up repeatedly in wall hangings, lamps and doorways.
Try out some delectable food at their all day dining, Zoya or the Indo Persian extravaganza Zarin. Aasman sets the mood for a romantic outdoor dinner while Aza excludes pure class as the Library Bar.
Zoya’s all day dining is offset with a tremendous design. With both Indoor and Outdoor seating, this restaurant does the Herculean job of satisfying all types of palates. Ranging from an authentic Rajasthani thaali to the light simpler flavours of South East Asia, from a gargantuan breakfast buffet to some intricate, complex flavours of European cuisine, Zoya will take care of all your taste buds.

The Hotel lobby Anjum continues the tradition of evening High Tea. Some decadent Darjeeling and Assam teas are on offer along with some delightfully created mini bites. There is a thick creamy chicken as well as corn and spinach quiches. But what really takes the day are the perfectly sour yet creamy blueberry cheesecakes.
After that experience the serene royalty of Aza, the regency style library Bar. Leather bound chairs, dim lighting, soft music along with tapestries all over along with some plush carpets and old world oak cabinets.
The Alcohol flows easily here as some decadent food is served. The Chicken Tikka is a definite lookout along with the Fish and Chips. But it’s their Old Fashioned that takes the day. Sweet and bitter to the correct extents, this beautiful orange drink reminds you of Dan Draper’s craziness of Mad Men.
The adjoining Cigar room, Cigar Diwan offers one of the exclusive gentlemen’s club in town. The Humidor includes some of the best Cubans found in India.
