Gastronomica’s gastronomical fantasies leave you spellbound. Located in the effervescent GK1 M Block Market, this new entrant on the scene creates some food which makes you coming back for more.
One of their summer must tries is the Apple Mojito which combine sweet apple with the zingy flavours of a mojito to give you a perfectly refreshing drink this summer.
We start off with an earthy Mushroom Cappuccino. The beautifully cooked shittake mushrooms leave a beautiful flavour on your mouth.
Try out the poached red wine pear salad. The pears lovingly doused in wine combine in a perfect harmony with the crispy rocket leaves and salty cheese to create a multitude of flavours on your palate.
The quinona bhel impresses with a healthy switch on the North Indian classic. For the starters we try out the Papad ke kebab and the Tandoori Quail. The Papad Ke kebab gives off a super crisp texture while the chef gets it spot on with the quail. Although there is an abundance of bone, but there’s loads of succulent meat in between.
The Gastronomica Slider is an explosion of flavours on the palate. Although the bun is a bit stiff, but it’s the soft melt in your mouth mutton that makes you go gaga.
The mains include a chicken tortellini which fails to impress whereas the espresso chicken and the roasted pork chops create a meat heaven for you.
We end our meal with a decadent Alphonso Phirni and a triple layered chocolate mousse cake.
