There are quite a number of restaurants which have recently sprouted up in the city and serve some great authentic Japanese fair. So the love for the cuisine is certainly on the rise, people are beginning to enjoy the cuisine and indeed before this era the average Delhiite was never really keen on trying seafood , as authentically speaking Sushi is made from sea food and vinegared rice. But surprisingly sushi is making serious in roads into the restaurant menus.
Gallow green, a brain child of restaurateur Manav Sharma is the latest one to join the bandwagon of the Japanese restaurants. With a bit of an offbeat location, on the second floor of The MGF Metropolitan mall, Saket, this restaurant serves an enormous variety of Sushi, teppenyaki and dimsums. The restaurant has only a terrace sitting area which is covered with plush, green plants, might be a little difficult to handle in this scorching summer heat but is perfect when the sun goes down. We tried some of their signature rolls like The Crab Roll, The Prawn California Roll. The Tuna Sushi rice roll is highly recommended here. A thin slice of Tuna fish is wrapped around a perfectly assembled sushi which is as delicious as it looks. Never knew that exotic fruits are too used as an ingredient in a Sushi, The Mango Uramaki Roll too is something not to be missed here.
The restaurant also serves a good range of some few signature and classical cocktails which one should order. It also offers some economical per head fixed package which include a couple of cocktails with a platter of sushi and dimsums of your choice. So all the Sushi lovers of the city, do visit the Green Gallow to enjoy a galore of some great sushi and much more.
