Satyaniketan is the new hub of the good comfort food at pocket friendly prices. The newest entrant in the market, “ Superstar ”, located just above WOW momos has simply won our hearts. I was invited to attend their “friendship day” celebration at the café and it was an absolute delight. I entered the café and it was filled with college kids. Live music blaring with some really fabulous selection of songs. Young couples in the name of “friendship day” celebrating Valentine’s Day (:p – it was absolutely awwww). There was something about the café that made me soo nostalgic and took me on a trip to my college days, maybe it was the wall-full of post its or the funny movie posters or the fact that the place was full of sooo many college kids. Either ways the place was able to win my heart!!
ABOUT THE FOOD
Almost everything tasted quiet good. Whatever I ordered, it was not authentic in taste but it was quiet flavorful. The portion sizes are quiet good, it can easily fill any hungry college kid’s tummy. It is a classic example of a good café- comfort food at pocket friendly prices.
GRILLED FISH FILLET WITH LEMON BUTTER SAUCE
This dish is one of their best-selling dishes and highly recommended by my fellow reviewer. The fish was quiet flavorful and it could give any good lounge in Delhi a run for its money. A must must must try!

SUPERSTAR SPECIAL PASTA
A pink sauce pasta which is not an authentic Italian dish but as a college café food, works soo well. The sauce was really flavorful and the pasta was cooked well. Priced at INR 170, this one was actually a steal.

Layers of pasta filled with spinach and topped with cheese & sauce, baked to an absolute perfection. The filling was quiet generous and it was such a riot of flavors with each bite. Loved this one!

ABOUT THE DRINKS
We ordered the Kanche waali bottle and Oreo chocolate Shake, both were prepared really well. While the kanche waali bottle was actually Shikanji served in the Kanche waali bottle, Oreo shake was really flavorful and you could actually taste Oreo’s in your mouth. Both the drinks were absolutely fabulous.

Little little things really matter for me! There was a group of friends celebrating a friend’s birthday, the vocalist in the band, dedicated a song for the birthday boy and inhouse photographer clicked fun photos with props of the group. Everyone in the café, got up and sang for the birthday boy!! So much warmth! So much love! Friendship day spent well at Superstar!!
