The newest entrant in Worldmark 3 is Cafe Delhi Heights. In the midst of chaos of all hotels, Cafe Delhi Heights enters Aerocity with a breath of fresh air. I tried couple of their dishes, I am going to list down the absolute must haves.
1. Panzanella Salad
Grilled Veggies served with diced foccacia bread. This salad is a warm salad and works so well in this winter chill. Bell peppers, capsicum, broccoli, carrots, baby corn, beans and asparagus grilled to perfection, served with a generous topping of grated mozzarella cheese. This salad is grilled to perfection and the cheese adds the necessary richness. Overall a must eat!
2. Moussaka
Ideally a Moussaka is a non-vegetarian delight but I was glad to see a vegetarian version of the same. Typically a Mediterranean dish, Cafe Delhi Heights version had layered roasted eggplants, zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers, spiced bechamel sauce served with salad greens and garlic bread. The dish has a lot of complex flavors, with each bite you could taste so many textures. The dish is cheesy but doesn’t make you feel heavy. It is a light and a hearty dish which gives a feel good factor after eating it. A must try, my personal recommendations to this one.
3. Quattro Stagioni Pizza
This dish is uniquely conceptualized, with 4 different toppings, it is a delight for all the taste pallets. One fourth is a Margarita pizza, the second fourth is Al Pesto Genovese (sundried tomatoes, olives, pesto and cheese), third fourth is Trio Bell Pepper (mixed bell peppers with sliced onions) and the last fourth is grilled mushrooms, spinach & onions. I quiet enjoyed each portion, each had a unique taste and the toppings worked really well.
I am a big fan of fresh juices and Cafe Delhi Heights is one place where I love to indulge in the same. The three juices which are absolute must haves here are:-
1. My aim to be cool
Kiwi, apple, cucumber and mint leaves juiced to an absolute perfection. As a kid I was always taught green means healthy and this tasted healthy too (:p). Absolutely love the kick of mint leaves in each sip.
2. A Beet Beauty
Beetroot, ginger and apple. I am a big big big fan of raw ginger and beet beauty satisfies my quench for the same. Not a big beetroot fan but the ginger taste is so strong, it overpowers the beetroot taste, so giving me all the health benefits of a beetroot yet not tasting like one (:p).
3. ABC story
Apples, beetroots and Celery sounds utterly disgusting but surprisingly is quiet yum. Cafe Delhi Heights has managed to make me fall in love with their beetroot juices despite me not liking the taste of beetroot. I don’t know how but they have recipes which work and do an absolute justice to squeezed juices.
Overall loved my experience at Cafe Delhi Heights and looking forward to my next one.
