North campus of Delhi University has been flooded with student cafes lately. Most of them have been serving almost the same menu with a little difference. A need for breaking this monotony was deeply desired and finally came a savior with the name of The University Bistro. It opened up in the busy lanes of Vijay Nagar and has been attracting students because of good quality and very reasonable prices. Such good quality and portion size cannot be provided in lower prices than these.

The interior of the café reflects student’s life, which is full of travel, sports, adventure and entertainment. So what is different in the menu? Apart from continental cuisine, they are also offering Mexican as well as Mediterranean which is not so common. The use of good quality ingredients is noticeable and appreciable. Another different side of TUB is that they have the facility of home delivery (fast and efficient), which most other cafes are not providing. Bells are ringing for people who put up nearby!

Mexican Tacos: For those who are bored of tomato full of spicy sauce in the tacos, this one will be a welcoming change. Rich in veggies and mildly spiced, these tacos are real crisp and crunchy.
Aranchini: Whatever you order here, do not miss out on these rice and cheese balls. Having a perfectly thin and crispy outer crust, these are super creamy and fulfilling inside. The accompanying sauce will prevent it from tasting bland.
Exotic Pizza: A crust so thin that it might feel difficult to handle the weight of the cheese! Also noticeable is the size of the pizza, which is HUGE.
Wellington Pizza: It is more like a roll filled with mildly spiced potatoes. A suitable option when you are not just hungry, but really very hungry!
Sizzler: If you confused as to what to order and what not, order for a sizzler, which is a combination of Pasta, rice and veggies. You will get a glimpse of spicy and creamy stuff, all in one platter.
Fried Ice cream: Here comes the star of the dishes at the TUB, which is an ice cream hidden inside a cover and fried! It’s a vanilla ice cream sprinkled with coconut shavings. A hot, cold and creamy concoction! Should not be missed.
