Reminiscent of an emperor’s hunting lodge, there are leather bound chairs, dim lighting, soft music along with tapestries all over along with some plush carpets and old world oak cabinets. With a seating capacity of 36 covers, the bar boasts an interesting collection of books that includes mythology, literature and history.
Here one can easily find all the classics in their glory, vintage cognacs, rare single malts, and a wine cellar. The main highlight at Aza is undoubtedly the exclusive whisky appreciation station which features a wide array if exotic collection of-aged and rare malt whiskies of the world where connoisseurs can select and savour the ‘Private whisky collection of the Maharaja’ from its exquisite menu. The service at Aza extends to the lush palace lawns outside where you can enjoy warm bonfires and mashaal lit greens as the chefs roll out lip smacking dishes.We started with chicken tikka and paneer tikka which is great paired with whiskey based Manhattan. Following it was one of the finest classic cocktail Rob Roy which consists of Whiskey, vermouth and angostura bitter.
Next to it is the Cigar Diwan which is one of the exclusive gentlemen’s club in town.
