1. Hidamba Devi Temple
You must have seen this temple in lot of movies and advertisements. Very popular among locals. Just 5 minutes drive from Manali this ancient cave temple is set amidst a picturesque cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. Nevertheless, the beautiful natural ambience and the unique architecture of the temple is a treat in itself.
2. Vashist Hot water Springs and Temple
Located elegantly above River Beas, Vashisht is around 6km away from Manali town in Kullu district. This small village is now recognized around the world because of the commonly found hot water springs in this region. Here, all hot water springs emerge from the granitic deposits that cover a vast area in this segment of the Himalayas. The ponds or water ‘kunds’ are located at the center point of the village. The entire area around these springs is normally covered with enthralling greenery all through the year.
3. Manu Temple
The Manu Temple in Old Manali, one of the most popular attractions in the area, it is situated approximately 3km from the Mall Road and is surrounded by lush green forests. Situated on the banks of river Beas, the trek to the temple in itself is an experience worth remembering. The temple, built centuries ago, is dedicated to sage Manu, the creator of human race in the world.The temple has great historic and religious significance. Numerous scriptures can be seen on the temple pillars and walls. It also offers splendid views of the valley and town, which is very beautiful and peaceful.
4. Club House
At a distance of 2 kms from Manali, the club house is an entertainment zone. It has indoor game facilities and is situated on the left bank of river beas. The structure of Club House has its resemblance from British style of architecture. It is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) and offers avenue for playing popular indoor games such as carrom, table tennis, karting and skating. Tourists can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some delicious snacks from their in-house restaurant. Adventure freaks can indulge in river crossing which can be done by ropeway.

5. Old Manali
A small segment in Manali itself. A place where two worlds meet. The Old Manali is across Manalsu River and connects to New Manali through the bridge at the River Manalsu. This place is so much unlike the Manali you see on the Mall Road – crowded and noisy. Indians generally don’t prefer staying here, for reasons best known to them.
However, dump your stays in New Manali and join the party scenes of Old Manali.
