Le cafe is one good place in R City which offers up some authentic European and Italian dining both in terms of items they have put up on their menu and their preparations. A good thing considering the justice done to their traditional cooking but also turns out to be extremely challenging for the chef. But le cafe to a very extent does the job well without much disappointment.
I went there one evening to try this place and found it very spacious and worked upon considering ambiance. A large screen is there which is dominated by IPL during these days. Seating is also good but there is still much scope for improvement.

I ordered chicken skewers, three mushroom risotto topped with chargrilled chicken and panseared pink basa. In drinks we had apple and lemon ice teas and mint mojito. Preperation time was an issue here considering only two tables were occupied. Skewers were good and served in a pot based with coal to enhance the smokey feel in the dish but sadly the flavors were not that prominent and it tasted slightly bland. Also smokiness was lost out somewhere. Next was the risotto which was a clear winner. It was made very elegant with strong garlic flavor highly dominating over the mushrooms and chargrilled chicken added beauty to its already amazing taste. Fish was also good served with hefty amount of salad and a very nice sauce. Texture was really elegant and it was rightly flavored. Drinks were very basic but served well their purpose.

On a whole this place is worth a try and to an extent does not disappoint. You can expect a nice hangout with friends here with great food. Currently they are out of their Liquor license but will soon get it back. Also some improvement is needed in service time and some minor issues in dishes.
