Chef Noah, smartly used a wide variety of locally procured ingredients infused with different types of alcohol create great zest such as the Tequila Infused Sriracha & Mirin Tofu. The dish had a fiery taste of Sriracha sauce along with the aftertaste of Tequila. It is not easy to provide a perfect balance of flavours with Tofu but here they create it smoothly. Sambuca Torched Feta & Prawn Saganaki and Rice Wine Sambal Chicken Skewers was next on our plate. Sambuca is a famous Italian liquor which is here infused with Feta cheese and Prawns to create the classic greek Prawn Saganaki. The spicy asian flavours in Sambal chicken skewers combined well with rice wine or mijiu.
Also showcasing, is their all-new Martini bar menu. The team have come up with some great martinis with creative combinations like the Chili & raw Mango Martini, the Watermelon, Coriander & Togarashi Martini, the Gondharaj Lemon and Honey Martini and the best looking one, The Purple Dragon Martini – Vodka, Blue Curacao, Cranberry juice, Pineapple and sweet and sour.
Apart from the Martinis we strongly recommend their award winning cocktails like the Dusk till Dawn, The Fog-Light or the immensely popular Barrel Aged Old Fashioned. The meal ended on a sweet note with the Bailey’s Cookie Cream Parfait. Layered with coffee mousse, chocolate oreo cookies, parfait and top it all off with Baileys Irish Cream. This one stood out to be one of the major highlights of our meal.
