On our maiden visit to Mauritius, I got the chance to travel along with Mauritiu’s official airline, Air Mauritius and enjoyed their hospitality. Our flight from Delhi MK 745 and MK 744 was an Airbus 332 with comfortable legroom seats that afforded us quite a relaxed flight to Mauritius. The seat offers up a blanket, standard headphones, multipurpose kit, a USB charging port and entertainment screen.
Inflight Entertainment
The biggest problem with a flight to Mauritius is obviously the flight time which extends to nearly 7-7.5 hours from Delhi and having proper entertainment during that time is paramount. The entertainment on board Air Mauritius is pretty good. With more than 20 Hindi movies and 30 international movies, along with games and music, I had no problems in spending one of my sleepless legs on the way back. The in-flight magazine, Islander also has a plethora of wanderlust and offbeat locations which makes for some interesting reading.
Food and Beverage
During my flight from New Delhi to Mauritius, not only did the lovely air hostess provide me with a blanket and pillow, there were also some good beverages to be had. I really fell in love with the choice of delectable Indian and Mauritian food and beverages that were served on board.
